If you know someone who was accepted to the college you want to visit then ask if you can review their essay. If they were given in, you know the school was happy with the essay, or at least happy enough to pass through the screening process! You may also use search engines like google or bing to find some good quality essays to examine. Some high schools even offer classes on how to write entrance essays. If you’re school has this I’d highly recommend taking it.
